Objective Heat a titanium blade to 500Ā°F (200Ā°C) to melt and drain theĀ wax from inside the blade.
Material 4ā length (101.6mm) titanium blades with 1.5ā x 0.25ā (38.1mmĀ x 6.4mm) metering area
Temperature 500Ā°F (200Ā°C)
Frequency 60Ā kHz
Equipment ā¢ DW-HF-15kW induction heating system equipped with aĀ remote workhead.
ā¢ An induction heating coil designed and developedĀ specifically for this application.
Process A specially designed eight-turn helical coil is used to heat toĀ the blades. Power is applied for 3.5 minutes. The wax meltsĀ and drips out of the blade.
